Assen, runganSport — Movistar Yamaha rider, Valentino Rossi crashing into the Ducati Team rider Jorge Lorenzo in the middle of a fast Turn 9.
At first Lorenzo made a little mistake in Turn 8, making him enter the next corner too deep and touch the sidewalk.
As a result, Lorenzo lost control of the front of his motorcycle, in order to avoid an accident, Lorenzo braked abruptly in the middle of a quick turn.
Rossi who was behind the Spanish rider did not think Lorenzo will hit the brakes suddenly.
Finally Rossi was forced to hit the back of Lorenzo motor, making both very surprised.
Luckily both survived and no accident occurred in the incident that occurred at the high speed.
After the race, the Ducati team immediately checked X-Fuera’s GP18 and found a significant crack in the black-box section of the Lorenzo iron horse tail. (DN/eV)
